SGWMSCOG

She was filled with emotions when she knew you were coming into her life;
Smiled when you kicked her because
she knew you were doing fine;
Was thankful even for the pain she just went through, the first time she looked into your eyes;

She cradled you in her arms till you slept,
though she was tired too;
Sponged you all night when you were running a fever, though she was sick;
Gave you that last piece of cake, and it wasn’t because she was already full;

She boasted about you to whomever she met;
Bled in her heart when you pretended not to know her in front of your friends;
Taught you to be independent, but reminisced those days when she was still holding your hand;

She was pierced in the heart
every time you shouted at her;
Secretly cried that night, when you turned away from her in anger;

She still thinks you are her baby,
no matter how old you are;
Worries about every aspect of your life,
her worries never cease for a moment;

She is your nanny, your teacher, your guardian angel;
She would climb the highest mountains for you;
She would walk through the fire for you;
And will do whatever it takes as long as it concerns you.
She will push herself over her limits because of you;
The only concern and everything in her life—is only you;

But you never knew.
